Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has declared his full support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
Fintiri made this known during a visit to the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja. According to him, Adamawa State will give President Tinubu and the APC at least 85% of its total votes.
He also assured the party leadership that no other candidate from any opposition party would be able to get up to 25% of the votes in the state.
Fintiri described his return to the APC as “homecoming” because he was one of the people who started the party in 2014. He told the APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, that the APC in Adamawa are getting prepared for 2027.
He revealed that his team is already working hard at the grassroots level to prepare for the 2027 elections.
He said, “We are fully integrated, fully on ground, and working tirelessly to achieve this goal.”
Fintiri also mentioned that they recently held a meeting in the state to unite all members, noting that the goal is to make sure President Tinubu wins with a very high number of votes.
He said, “Our commitment is clear, to ensure a massive victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates in 2027.”
Yilwatda acknowledged Fintiri’s commitment and said the party sincerely welcomes him. He maintained that the party is ready “for submission to INEC”. This hints at the party’s readiness to ensure Tinubu and the APC candidates emerge victorious in 2027 elections.
