The Buhari Organisation (TBO), a prominent political group, has endorsed President Bola Tinubu for re-election in the 2027 general elections, pledging the unwavering loyalty of its members.
The declaration was made during a courtesy visit to the State House, Abuja, led by former Nasarawa State Governor, Senator Tanko Al-Makura, representing the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) side within the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Al-Makura emphasised the group’s commitment, stating, “We are with you in loyalty, in person, and in purpose. May Almighty God grant you the wisdom and strength to continue leading our nation.”
He highlighted the historical alliance between Tinubu and the late President Muhammadu Buhari, noting their shared vision for a Nigeria built on justice, economic sovereignty, and good governance.
“Together, you conceptualised and built a platform that remains our pride and our cause,” Al-Makura added, recalling the CPC’s struggles before its 2013 merger into the APC.
Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, reinforced the group’s support, stating, “This is the first time former CPC members have gathered in such numbers to visit our President. Over 90% of CPC’s pioneer leaders remain loyal.”
He assured Tinubu of their unconditional backing, pledging to mobilise support nationwide for the APC’s success in 2027.
Addressing the delegation, Tinubu announced that Nigeria had met its 2025 revenue target in August, eliminating the need for further borrowing. “Nigeria is not borrowing.
We have met our revenue target for the year,” he said, attributing the achievement to non-oil sector growth and economic reforms.

He also dismissed concerns about potential U.S. tariffs under President Donald Trump, stating, “If non-oil revenue is going well, then have no fear of whatever Trump is doing.”
Tinubu highlighted economic stabilisation, noting the naira’s improvement from N1,900 to N1,450 against the dollar.
