Popular Nigerian content creator and TikToker, Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, better known as Jarvis, has threatened to take legal action against her boyfriend and fellow TikTok star, Peller, over allegations of money laundering.
The controversy began after Peller made a startling claim during a recent livestream, accusing Jarvis and several other TikTok influencers of laundering money through the platform’s gifting feature. This system allows fans to send virtual gifts, which can be converted into cash.
In response, Aiso Entertainment, Jarvis’ management team, issued a statement refuting the allegations and describing them as baseless and defamatory.

The statement, which was shared via Jarvis’ official social media page, emphasized that the claims were damaging to her reputation and could have serious legal consequences for the accuser.
“Such accusations are an attack on her character and legality, which deserve stringent legal action of this kind,” the management wrote. “The management alongside her esteemed legal counsel denies these allegations and we are currently exploring the possibility of initiating a defamation lawsuit against Mr. Peller.”
The management further stressed that Jarvis is a law-abiding entertainer who has built her brand through creativity and hard work, warning that false accusations could not only tarnish her image but also endanger her professional partnerships and endorsements.
The feud between Jarvis and Peller, once a popular TikTok couple known for their joint comedy skits and live sessions, has drawn widespread attention across social media, with fans expressing shock at the public fallout. Many have called for calm and urged both parties to resolve their issues privately.
As of the time of filing this report, Peller has not issued any formal response to the legal threat. However, the development has sparked heated conversations within Nigeria’s growing TikTok community about online accountability, the ethics of influencer marketing, and the potential for the app’s monetization features to be misused.
With Jarvis’ management set to pursue legal redress, the incident could mark one of the first major defamation cases within Nigeria’s influencer space, potentially setting a precedent for how digital creators handle public allegations and disputes in the future.
