Prominent Nigerians, including the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Akeem Owoade; the wife of Anambra State Governor, Nonye Soludo; and former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Betta Edu, have paid glowing tributes to Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, as she marked her 65th birthday.
In his birthday message released on Monday through his Director of Media and Publicity, Bode Durojaiye, Oba Owoade described the First Lady as “a role model” whose leadership reflects “uncommon wisdom, remarkable vision, and exemplary service to the nation.”
He praised her integrity and sincerity, stating, “She makes decisions and accepts responsibility for her actions… She is someone whom people can rely upon.”
Highlighting her moral compass and dedication to public service, the monarch said, “She knows that a fulfilling and meaningful life is created through service to others… Your leadership has meant so much to this country.”
He offered prayers for her continued good health and national impact.

Also commemorating the occasion, Nonye Soludo described Mrs Tinubu as “a perfect example of selfless service, excellence, grace and kindness,” particularly in her commitment to the welfare of women and children.
“Your life is a perfect example of what selfless service should be,” Soludo said, on behalf of Anambra women and children. “May this fresh start restore unto you sound health, greater wisdom, and the abundant grace to continue to serve and live for humanity.”
In her tribute, Betta Edu hailed the First Lady as “an epitome of grace, compassion, and kindness,” praising her Renewed Hope Initiative for its “life-changing interventions” in support of vulnerable families.
“You truly represent hope for the Nigerian woman,” Edu said. “You have proven that leadership can be tender yet firm, compassionate yet principled, and motherly yet national in outlook.”
Senator Oluremi Tinubu, a three-term former senator and wife of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is being celebrated across the country for her contributions to national development and commitment to humanitarian causes.
