In a move to tackle shortage of health personnel, Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has authorised the recruitment of additional medical and health personnel to enhance the delivery of healthcare services across the state.
The approval was announced on Friday by the Permanent Secretary of the Kwara State Civil Service Commission, Hajia Jimoh.

Jimoh noted that the recruitment is m part of ongoing efforts to revitalise the state’s health sector.
Jimoh during a media briefing in her office, Hajia Jimoh commended the governor for his decisive action to strengthen the workforce in the health sector.
She highlighted that the recruitment exercise aims to improve service delivery and further the transformation of Kwara’s healthcare system, which has seen significant upgrades in infrastructure and increased patronage throughout the state.

A public notice for the recruitment has already been published, and Jimoh encouraged prospective candidates to adhere strictly to the application guidelines.
This latest initiative reflects the governor’s ongoing commitment to improving healthcare access and service quality for residents of Kwara State.
