Donald Trump on Monday took the oath of office, becoming the 47th president of the United States.
He was administered the oath of office by Chief Justice John Roberts inside the Capitol Rotunda of the US Capitol building in Washington, DC.
This event marked his political comeback following his felony convictions.
His running mate, JD Vance, was sworn in by Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
Trump’s inauguration was the 60th US presidential inauguration and the second non-consecutive.
