The All Progressives Congress (APC) has warned the public to disregard a report spreading misinformation concerning nomination forms for the 2027 general elections.
According to the report, aspirants for presidency are meant to pay N200 million while those vying for posts in the national assembly are meant to pay N20 million.
Felix Morka, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, however, spotlighted the falsity of the report.
“The attention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been drawn to a false and misleading report circulating in sections of the media regarding a purported ‘price list’ for expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 General Elections.
The APC states categorically that the report is FAKE, and did not emanate from the Party”, he said.
He stated that the party is yet to make any announcement regarding the price for the nomination forms for the 2027 general elections. According to him, the report is nothing but “a mere figment of the writer’s mischievous imagination”.
The APC then urged party members, the media, and the Nigerian populace to disregard the false notice.
